Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your sticker/accessory/clothing item to request a return if there is a significant issue with the product itself.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sadtofuteam@gmail.com or DM our Instagram page (@sadtofu.au). If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Items that have not arrived
Though rare, occasionally an order will not arrive due to an error with the shipping address or fault in the line of delivery. We at Sad Tofu use AusPost for the delivery of most orders, once you have received a notification that we have posted/shipped the order, there is no more we can do to hasten it's arrival. If your order includes tracking information (for express or parcel post orders), this will be provided to you with the notification of postage. If your order does not include tracking information, there is no more we can do to find posted orders. Once an order has been posted, Sad Tofu is not liable for lost or misplaced items and cannot be held responsible for replacing/refunding orders that do not arrive. Goods that are damaged on arrival will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and a refund/replacement will be processed if our staff deem the issue to have been avoidable on our account.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as air fresheners) and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.


Exchanges
We cannot exchange any item that has been opened/peeled such as stickers and air fresheners. Clothing items may only be exchanged if they are unworn, though since we run limited stock we may not have the size you're after for replacement.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

You may also request a refund if an item does not hold up to your expectation, this will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. This does not apply to stickers as there are too many possible causes and factors that become involved with DIY application.
